Duck ‘n’ Hover is our popular annual teen engineering event for students in grades 8 through 12. They will design and build a wind-powered device that can lift a payload of rubber ducks three stories high!
Families of teens are welcome to attend the event and watch the timed team trials with purchase of Exhibit Halls admission (or use a family or library membership). Participate in fun engineering activities throughout the Museum and meet local engineers who will share their work and insights into the world of engineering.
EDUCATORS, free bus transportation is available for groups of 40 or more. Educators will be provided free coffee as well as other fun Museum opportunities. Any school for which at least one educator and ten students attend will be entered in a raffle for one free field trip for the 2019 – 2020 school year!
