The animals in our urban habitat are often active when we are sleeping or inside due to "bad weather." Using motino sensor trail cameras we can take pictures of a wide variety of animals that can be hard to see in person, such as deer, coyotes, opposums, skunks, and others. In this course we will explore the nature trails around the Boston Nature Center and look at photos of local animals taken with an infrared trail camera. We will then make drawings of the animals that we see in the photos.
This program will be taught by Peter Byerly. Peter is an architect, now living Dorchester Lower Mills. He has lived in either Boston/Cambridge since 1978 and has taught drawing and design courses over the years at Boston Architectural College, Mount Ida College, Nantucket Island School of Design and Arts and, most recently, at The Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester.
The course will last 2 hours. Materials will be provided. Open to all levels.
