The Urban Hound and Boston By Foot will be leading three tours covering Boston’s most historic neighborhoods: Beacon Hill, the South End, and Back Bay. Tours will bring guests to some of these neighborhoods’ most history-filled spots and sprinkle in some of Boston’s dog friendly locations along the way. Urban Hound owner and founder, Rebecca Willson will accompany each tour, giving dog owners friendly training and walking tips. Each 90 minute walk will end at a neighborhood dog park, where the Urban Hound’s Treat and Training Trike will be waiting to offer fresh water and pup-friendly frozen yogurt for your furry friends.
The tours will accommodate up to fifteen people with their dogs.
Saturday, October 25th: South End - The South End was Boston's first big land-making project designed for new housing for the city’s growing upper class. It is based on an English plan, with lovely parks and squares framed by rows of houses. The South end is home to major institutions, like the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Boston City Hospital and is known for its wonderful restaurants, funky boutiques, artist lofts and theaters. Meet your guide in the Southwest Corridor Park at Back Bay Station, Dartmouth Street, Boston and end at the Peter’s Park dog park.
