About the Instructors


Brett Bishop
Design Thinking Strategist , Capital One


Brett Bishop is currently reimagining the way 60 million people interact with their money as a Design Thinking Strategist at Capital One. As a design thinker, Brett leverages human-centered design methodologies to uncover insights that shake up Capital One’s products, processes, and strategies. In addition to his time as a design thinker, Brett has worked in new product development, branding, marketing, and traditional market research. Prior to joining Capital One, Brett researched and lectured on Consumer Behavior at the University of Florida and Carnegie Mellon University. Last but not least, Brett is a lover, a fighter, and a ginger.


Matt Kaiser
UX Designer, PillPack


Matt Kaiser directs design and user experience at PillPack, a pharmacy that combines packaging, technology, and service innovations to improve medication adherence.
Matt graduated with honors from MassArt's design program, and worked for years in branding, print, and user-centered design before moving into the startup world. He joined PillPack during its residency at IDEO, and worked closely with their design team to bring the company from a small startup to an award-winning national service.
