"Iterate" is a sacred word in startup culture. The mantra of start small, test, and continuously improve is what allows startups to take risks and outcompete larger companies.

But perfectionism can hold back even experienced startup leaders. It's hard to compromise on high standards or a vision for the way things should be. Founders and product managers working on a minimum viable product can struggle to know what's "minimum" while still being "viable." And software engineers always face the choice of whether to spend some time building extra flexibility / capacity now, or more time paying down technical debt later.

So how do you succesfully decide what's "good enough"? We've put together a panel of startup veterans who have faced these decisions countless times. Learn from their years of experience; save yourself from wasted effort that drains your startup's resources while avoiding skimping on the elements that actually matter.

This event is part of the Building Products track at Startup Boston 2018.

Our Speakers:
Shauni Deshmukh - CTO, Tettra
Before serving as CTO at Tettra, Shaun held software engineering roles at multiple companies including MITRE, Twitter, Bluefin Labs and PerkinElmer, in addition to serving as an engineer consultant at the U.S. Digital Service at The White House.

More speakers to be announced!
