Composer, performer, and MIT professor Evan Ziporyn has created a blockbuster tribute to the late David Bowie, transforming his final album, Blackstar, into a cello concerto for avant-garde cellist Maya Beiser, backed by the Ambient Orchestra. A special spectacle of light and projection is being created especially for this performance in Calderwood Hall.
