Hosted in partnership with The Colored Girls Museum, this festival reunites contemporary and traditional cultural practices across Africa and the African diaspora. Gather with family and friends to explore cultural connections and continuities through art making, live performance, drumming and other musical demonstrations, film screenings, storytelling, a vendor fair, tours, and workshops for all ages. In the evening, we welcome adults to join us for happy hour and a fashion show! Food and drink will be available for purchase.


Family-friendly activities (1:00 pm - 5:00 pm) are free with Museum admission.
Evening festival activities (5:00 pm - 8:00 pm) are $15; members, $10.
