Come enjoy the Cochituate Rail Trail on New Year’s Eve from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, December 31, 2021!! Community groups will set up at stations on the CRT between Route 9 and Chrysler Road. We welcome all individuals and organizations to participate and we need volunteers!


~This family-friendly stroll on the new Cochituate Rail Trail is an opportunity to meet and greet neighbors, and enjoy this wonderful new community asset. We invite you to sign up to:

2) volunteer to help make the first CRT NYE a success (sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/crtnye)


~What is a station? Every few hundred feet along the CRT, community organizations will set up at a location with a fire pit where they can greet people, provide entertainment, talk about their organization, serve hot cider or other food, and celebrate the new year.


***Please note that this is a drug- and alcohol-free event. Safety is the top priority.***


~Group Participation: Community groups or organizations are invited to set up at a station and provide food, drink, or entertainment, and to be responsible for the fire pit at their station during the event. We encourage participating groups to bring a suitable fire pit, if possible (we can provide if needed). Wood will be provided. Community groups will be required to agree to conditions defined by the Town of Natick to ensure a safe event. The Friends of Natick Trails will work directly with community groups to answer questions and provide guidance (sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/crtnye).


~Volunteer Participation: Volunteers are invited to help manage CRT NYE, including set up, working with community groups, event management, clean up, and other tasks (sign up here: https://tinyurl.com/crtnye).
