Welcome to Create a Custom Herbal Tea Blend with Kristini's Teas! This workshop is perfect for anyone who loves drinking herbal tea and would like to learn more about the herbs inside the teas they steep. In this class you'll sip on one of Kristini's herbal tea blends while she introduces you to several of her favorite herbs and how she creates tea blends. Then, you will get to create a tea blend of your own to take home!

About Our Host: Kristini's Teas is a small, woman-owned business that handcrafts herbal tea blends with love and intention. Kristina DeMichele (also known as "Kristini") is an herbalist, writer, and full-time digital marketing professional at MIT. She is based in Melrose, MA, and hails from Dublin, OH. Kristina has completed the Wild Folk Herbal Apprenticeship with herbalist Amber Kennedy of Boheme Botanika, and she takes courses throughout the seasons with herbalists Jenny Hauf of Muddy River Herbals and Steph Zabel of Herbstalk. Kristini's Teas believes that drinking herbal tea is a holistic experience that engages all five senses and aids in healing the physical and emotional aspects of ourselves. Kristini's Teas appears in person at several Boston Women's Markets, seasonal Melrose Farmers Markets, and other in-person artisan markets throughout the year.

Directions and Parking: Located in Assembly Row along the Fit Row side of the shopping center. Assembly Row’s parking rate structure ensures visitors will always have a place to park. Assembly visitors can park for up to 3 hours for FREE. Longer stays will be charged a nominal, hourly rate. A ticketless gate system has been implemented at each of the garages, which allows for credit/debit card entry and exit. Cards will not be charged before the 3 hour time frame, and your information will be automatically erased once you exit the garage.
We are also accessible via the Assembly stop on the orange line.
Cancellation Policy: You will receive a full refund if we are notified via email at [email protected] no less than 72 hours before the start time of the workshop. You will receive a 50% refund if notified no less than 48 hours before the start time of the workshop. No refund is available for less than 48 hour notice.
