CREATE is a celebration of art, food, drink and music in Boston. Now in its sixth year, the festival aims to showcase Boston’s artistic community and homegrown talent. CREATE pairs up-and-coming artists with the next wave of the city’s great chefs and bartenders, set to a soundtrack of incredible live music. You may not know these names, and in many ways you’re not supposed to. The point is that you won’t be able to forget them after seeing and tasting their work.
CREATE returns on Friday, April 7th at the SoWa Power Station. VIP Hour is 6-7pm, General Admission starts at 7pm.
CREATE challenges teams made up of an artist, a chef, and a bartender to collaborate on an interactive exhibition. The group decides on a theme inspired by the artist’s work, then the chef and bartender make a dish and a cocktail inspired by that same theme. You walk around the event eating, drinking, and taking in the art at each station for a completely unique experience.
We have bands playing throughout the event; a DJ; live art installations; cool photo ops; complimentary beer, wine, and small bites from local restaurants; a pop-up market of local makers; and food trucks.
