Cranksgiving is equal parts bike ride, food drive, and urban scavenger hunt. It is an annual, grassroots event that empowers the Boston cycling community to give back to the neighborhoods we ride in and the city we love. All ages and skill levels are welcome: racers, leisure riders, kids, and families.
You will navigate the streets of the Greater Boston area and the aisles of local grocery stores searching for specific food items. Make your way through the checkout lines and all the way to the final party stop, where your food will be donated to the Somerville Homeless Coalition, Rosie's Place, and the MSPCA's Catsgiving Food Drive. Over the past 3 years, we have collected more than 25,000 pounds of food to donate!
The event is free but you will need about $15 to buy groceries to donate. Cranksgiving Boston helps feed THOUSANDS of less fortunate families each year.
Registration begins at 1pm at Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park and everyone rolls at 2pm.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and we can always use
volunteers to help make the event happen. Please contact
