Philadelphia’s premiere family philanthropic organization, Cradles to Crayons®,is moving up its annual Gear Up for Winter Un-Gala fundraiser to November 10th&11thin order to get ahead of the cold weather and help prepare Philadelphia’s children for the year’s harshest conditions. All proceeds from the Un-Gala will benefit Cradles to Crayons Gear Up for Winter initiative, which aims to provide 12,000 local children with warm clothing and heavy coats this season.
The 10th Anniversary Un-Gala Family Day brings friends and families of all ages to the Cradles to Crayons Giving Factory for an impactful day of fun and hands-on community service. Members of the Family Leadership Circle and Gear Up for Winter supporters will enjoy a morning of sorting, inspecting and packaging items for local children in need, followed by a hot luncheon. Music, face painting, balloon artists and a photo booth add to the fun. All children & teens who attend Un-Gala Family Day will receive commemorative t-shirts.
