Project31 is thrilled to host an open contemporary class with the incredible Nikki Gyfto!
Nikki Gyftopoulos is an active choreographer and instructor at various dance studios across New England and the nation, and has been training in dance for over twenty five years. From her choreography and work, she has received over 50 choreography awards, including KAR Choreographer of the Year 2016, 2017, and 2019. Nikki has been on faculty for Turn It Up Dance Challenge conventions for three years and choreographed the National Dance Team performances in Ocean City and Foxwoods in 2019. In addition to teaching and choreographing, Nikki is co-owner of Thr3e Live Dance Complex, an industry-level studio in Rhode Island, offering drop-in classes for all ages. She is co-director of the hip-hop crew LIV3LIHOOD from Providence, RI, which has been awarded Prelude New England 1st Place Champions 2018 and 2019, World of Dance Boston 2nd Place 2019 and Crowd Favorite 2018, and Clutchfest Team of the Year 2018. Nikki holds a BA in Public Relations and a dance minor from Hofstra University and completed her MBA in marketing at Providence College.
