Can’t have cheer without Sleigh Ride? The Chelmsford Community Band has you covered. Ring in the holiday season with them as the concert band performs classical seasonal favorites on Sunday, December 10th, at 2pm at McCarthy Middle School.
Admission to the concert is free, but donations are always very gratefully accepted so that the band can continue to operate. Suggested donations are $10 for adults and $20 for families. There will also be a fundraising raffle of fun seasonal items and baked goods available for an additional donation.
Having recently celebrated its golden anniversary, the Chelmsford Community Band has a 60-piece concert band and a 20-piece jazz ensemble made of dedicated volunteer musicians with a proud tradition of bringing live musical performances to this community since 1972. They are supported by multiple Mass Cultural Council grants, including one for Cultural Sector Recovery.
