On Monday, November 6, Commonwealth hosts The Ultimate Fried Chicken Monday Throwdown. Building upon the popular Fried Chicken Mondays series, where Commonwealth features their buttermilk brined fried chicken in a different available-while-supplies-last special, this special Fried Chicken Monday Throwdown will pit Nicco against Chef Rob of Hojoko and Chef Derrick of Pagu for a little friendly competition! After guests vote, the winner takes home serious bragging rights and a secret prize. The event benefits The Friends of The Peabody School, a Cambridge-based nonprofit that raises funds to enable teachers to enrich their teaching with experiential learning. Monday, November 6, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Commonwealth, 11 Broad Canal Way, Cambridge.
