Nora Panahi has been doing stand-up comedy since September, 2015. She started out doing open mics as a Boston University freshman, then miraculously became the first female comic to win BU's Funniest, a school-wide stand-up competition. In August of 2018, Nora traveled down south to Philadelphia to join her fellow Middle Eastern-American artists at YallaPunk, a Middle Eastern and Muslim arts festival where she was able to unleash her full Iranianness with hilarious Muslim comics from all across the country. It was awesome.


Other cool credits include her residency at Broadway Comedy Club in the summer of 2018, winning Laugh Exchange's "Hanukkah" episode (how did that happen, btw?), and performing with comics like Hannibal Buress and Myq Kaplan. Nora graduates from Boston University this May, hopefully, and can't wait to be released into the wild to wreak havoc on the greater Boston area.
