Episode 6: Integrating Business and Sustainability
This session we are Joined by Dr. Madhavi Venkatesan, environmental activist and Economics Professor at Northeastern University.
Businesses have a significant role in fostering sustainability. They are not only the source of products and services but also are often perceived as the default for education and legitimacy of a given product offering. For this reason, businesses, especially local organizations have a unique opportunity to promote their brand image through promoting sustainability. This can be achieved through the products they sell and the explanations they provide and ideally both. In this coffee talk we will define sustainability and discuss how businesses can integrate sustainability in their operations to promote the greater good as well as facilitate their brand.
