Happy Leap Day! Please join us at this free coding workshop where we’ll learn all the fun facts about our favorite quadrennial event, February 29th. We’ll talk about the math behind the extra day, and then work on our leaping skills and our coding skills at the same time. We’ll be coding together in Scratch and developing a program fit for the best day that comes around every four years. 


These hands-on coding workshops for girls are developed and led by a Northeastern University computer science professor, and hosted with the support of computer science students who are all here to help everyone learn and have fun.


Girls ages 10-14 are welcome to join us. Computers, pizza, and fun will all be provided. No need to bring anything but yourself!
