About the film:
“The Seeker", starring Josh Radnor of "How I Met Your Mother", is a story of Grace, a daughter whose idyllic life is turned upside-down by immense tragedy. As she grows older, her cynicism and apathy towards her new reality is challenged by a reminder from the past that sets her on a pilgrimage that will define her.
The Seeker film has won the “BEST OF FEST” in the Visual Music category at the Speechless Film Festival. Despite fierce competition from a record number of movie releases in 2016, Sarasota Film Festival’s Michael Dunway calls The Seeker “One of the top 8 films not to miss this year.” Dunway says of the film, “What makes the film unusual is that it has no dialogue. The only sounds come from music by the band Cloud Cult. But the silent storytelling is expertly done. It sounds strange to say, but you don't miss the dialogue.” Jason Carney, the executive director of the Phoenix Film Festival, picked The Seeker as one of the “10 Don’t Miss Movies” (out of more than 150) in his interview with the Arizona Republic.
