The Climb for Kids stair climb to benefit Wediko Children's Services is the ideal way to start a May Sunday. Individuals, teams and families (don't worry, kids love it and are not intimidated by the stairs!) are invited to walk, run or race 46 flights up to the top of International Place. It's like a local 5k, but indoors and with a beautiful view at the end.
A $35 registration fee and $100 minimum fundraising is all that’s required. Climb for Kids features five different divisions: Weight of the World, wear a weighted backpack to represent the stressors that any given Wediko kid may be carrying; Repetitive Climb, sign up to climb twice; Kid Climbers, kids ages 4+ are invited to participate in a limited course or try beating their parents to the top; Virtual Climbers, raise money and help us climb to our fundraising goal from the comfort of your home; and the Family Division, special rate for families of three or more and only a $300 fundraising minimum required. With every step, you are committing to kids in need. Those struggling with ADHD, depression, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, trauma and countless other challenges deserve a fighting chance; help us help them fight.
