About Clay Father’s Day Cards and Chimes Workshop:
Make and decorate with ceramic colors clay Father’s Day-themed chime ornaments and cards, for Mom, or someone else special! Creations will be fired and make a beautiful and thoughtful gift! Attend with a friend or family, great parent and child project! A festive, outdoor, all-levels workshop!
All levels welcome. Ticket holders ages 5-15 must be accompanied by at least one registered adult. All persons within the gated workshop area must be registered to participate. This is strictly enforced.
Instruction, tools, materials, seating and work surfaces for building and decorating a Clay Card (4 x 6 inches) and 3 smaller chime ornaments will be provided during this 1.5 hour outdoor family-styled workshop.
Workshop will be held in a gated outdoor area adjacent to the Ceramics Sculpture Studio, located in the complex of brown buildings across from the main parking lot, behind the Store, also known as “Lincoln Nursery Schoo.” Proceed to the main parking lot, look for signs directing you to our site. Smaller workshops and inclement weather may require the workshop be relocated inside the Ceramics Sculpture Studio building. Mask-wearing is not required for vaccinated individuals inside or outside the studio, but strongly encouraged for the unvaccinated.
Work will be fired and ready for pick up on the following weekend, or by appointment after. Participants will be notified by email of available times for pick up in the course of the following week. An email address will be requested for communicating and coordinating pick up.
Please note: Although clay won’t permanently stain garments, participants are advised to wear suitable work garments while working with clay and glazes.
In instances of inclement weather, participants will be notified via email 48 hours in advance of cancellation or postponement of the event. The following day, Sunday, same time of day and location, will be considered viable for postponement.
