In this six-week class, you will learn the basics of improvised comedy in a fun and supportive space. This course aims to teach you the fundamentals of improv, build your confidence on stage and gives you the tools to collaborate and create comedic scenes with others.


Upon completion of the class, students will perform a half hour improvised show.


Class meets every Tuesday at 7PM

About The Teacher


Pim van Huijkelom has studied improv at the iO Theater in Chicago and has completed intensive training with David Razowsky (Second City) and Craig Uhlir (iO Theater). He has also taken workshops under Richard Talarico (iO Theater) and Susan Messing (Second City, iO Theater, Annoyance). Pim has been performing improv in Philadelphia over the past 3 years with various teams and makes up ½ of the improv duo, Barkley.
