Join thousands of Cambridge residents and visitors who will gather on Massachusetts Avenue in front of Cambridge City Hall (795 Massachusetts Avenue) for the City’s Dance Party on Friday, June 28, from 6-10 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Take the MBTA Red Line to Central Square and Cambridge City Hall is two blocks away.
The dance extravaganza with DJ spun music is a special opportunity for the entire Cambridge community to celebrate the beginning of summer. After dark, colorful lights will be launched, adding to the magic of the evening.
This year’s event is organized by the City Manager’s Office, Cambridge Arts, and the Central Square BID, with support from numerous city departments.
Originally conceived in 1996 as part of the City of Cambridge’s 150th anniversary celebration, the Dance Party attracts young and old to join in the festivities.
