City Tap House will bring the spirit of Cinco de Mayo to Fort Point by serving up a collection of Mexican-themed specials.


To snack, there is a Guac Trio ($15) served with tortilla chips: a traditional version; a chipotle, bacon and blue cheese variation; and a street corn guacamole.


To sip, City Tap will serve up south-of-the-border style 14oz beers ($7 each) including Sierra Nevada Brewing Company’s Ortz Vez and Oskar Blues Brewery’s Beerito. Additionally, the bar team will be shaking up two specialty cocktails ($12 each): a Spicy Basil Paloma with Jose Cuervo, orange liqueur, cayenne, lime juice, basil and soda water, as well as La Libertad with Jose Cuervo, melon liqueur and Sierra Nevada’s Orta Vez topped with shredded coconut.
