Join the Boston Public Library for an acoustic performance by Christine and the Riffs as part of our Concerts in the Courtyard Series, which is sponsored by Bank of America.


Concerts will take place in the McKim Building Courtyard of the Central Library in Copley Square and are open to a limited number of in-person attendees. No registration is required. This program will be additionally broadcast to the BPL's YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/V5uFhP7en1A. In the event of inclement weather, concerts may be live-stream only.


About the musicians


From Christine Lucas: I studied voice at the Boston Conservatory of Music. I have had vocal training in Classical music for 10 years and Vocal pop training for 20 years. I have studied with well known vocal teachers in Boston. I have been in vocal competitions. My influences have been Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. I have been a lead singer in several bands. I sing in several clubs through out all of the areas in Boston. I am a studied, experienced singer. To me singing is like breathing air. Singing and Music are in my soul.


Evan Cieplik is a local guitarist, bassist, and songwriter. Evan is currently attending Berklee College of Music majoring in Professional Music. Studies performance, composition and production. He also is a private teacher of guitar and bass. Evan’s background is primarily in Jazz.


Niko Malinowski is a guitarist, composer, and bandleader. He is currently studying guitar performance and jazz composition at Berklee College of Music. In addition to working as a sideman in a variety of styles, he leads his own fusion quintet, NMQ.
