Chinese New Year officially started on January 28 to welcome the Year of the Rooster. One of the most popular Chinese New Year activities in Boston is the huge Chinese New Year Parade in Chinatown, accompanied by the Chinatown Main Streets Cultural Village featuring culture and arts demonstrations, book reading, arts and crafting.
