New Leaders Council (NLC) is the leading leadership development program for progressive young professionals across the country. Anchored by its intensive six-month training program, the NLC Institute, NLC equips emerging leaders with the skills to run for office, create start-ups, manage campaigns, and serve their community.


NLC has 50 chapters across the country in blue states and red states alike, including our very own Boston chapter. Together, we are powering the bench of talent for the progressive movement. We are very proud to say that we are the only organization that offers this type of comprehensive training, for free, in the nation.


This year our annual fundraiser and fellows graduation, Cheers to Change: Celebrating 10 Years of NLC Boston, will bring together Boston’s progressive community and commemorate a decade of local leadership development and community engagement. Join us to congratulate our graduating 2019 NLC fellows, connect with local progressive leaders, and celebrate the countless contributions of over 200 alumni to the progressive movement across Greater Boston.


This event will take place on Wednesday, June 12th from 6:00-8:00pm at Scholars (25 School Street).
