One of the most dramatic, surprising, and well-respected composers of 17th century Venice was a woman: Her name is Barbara Strozzi and her music will come to life through Sophie Michaux (Mezzo-soprano), Benjamin Katz (Harpsichord) and Paul Holmes Morton (Theorbo), in one of their 3 concerts of this program. They will perform it in Annecy (France), and finally to the Fundazione Cini, in Venice (Italy).
