Charity Trivia Night to Support Pan-Mass Challenge Rider

Join Best Burger Bar for a night full of musical trivia to support local Pan-Mass Challenge rider, Callan Bignoli. Callan is riding for her friend and mentor, Marijean Levering who passed away last July at the age of 43 after a long battle with cancer.

Callan joined the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 2-day 190+ mile charity bike ride where 100% of proceeds go to the fight against cancer, to ride in Marijean's honor. She trained indoors all winter long and went for her first outside ride on Easter Sunday, April 1. A week later, on April 8, Callan was in a hit-and-run accident while riding through Packard's Corner in Allston. With no memory of the crash, she woke up in St. Elizabeth's emergency room with a concussion, a broken arm, and a broken bike. By the end of May, Callan was ready to get back on the road, so she bought a new bike. Three weeks later, someone cut through her lock in front of the Star Market on Commonwealth, less than a block from where she’d been struck in April and made off with Callan’s brand-new wheels.

Callan went looking for a challenge and here she is in the middle of it. With the support from her community, Callan will be able to make it to the finish line in Provincetown on August 5.
All proceeds from the night will go towards getting Callan a new bike and to her Pan-Mass Challenge fundraiser (http://profile.pmc.org/CB0414).
