Tom Griesgraber is one of the world’s most respected performers on The Chapman Stick, an unusual 12-string guitar/bass hybrid with separate guitar, bass and synthesizer outputs. Though it appears to come from the guitar/bass family, the instrument is actually played with a technique more like piano, allowing the player to sound separate notes in both hands and create simultaneous bass lines, chords and melodies with a mix of tones and timbres. Tom has released seven albums to date including duo projects with Bert Lams (California Guitar Trio), Ryan Moran (Slightly Stoopid) and Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel Band). He regularly tours the US and western Europe and has shared concert billings with artists such as The California Guitar Trio, Steve Morse, Al Dimeola, The Tony Levin Band, Adrian Belew, Stanley Jordan, Andy Summers (The Police) and Carl Palmer.

Claire Steger is a musician and music technologist, whose work often focuses on the implementation of technology to aid in musical expression. Coming from a classical piano background, she has gained wide recognition in the Stick community for her adaptations of classical keyboard literature to the Chapman Stick.
