Chameleon Arts Ensemble resumes its 25th anniversary season with a Shakespeare-inspired offering of vibrant storytelling and idyllic beauty. The Bard takes center stage in Korngold’s rendering of Much Ado About Nothing for violin and piano, Thomas Adès’ colorful Court Studies from The Tempest, and David Matthews’ rapturous operatic scena on texts from Antony and Cleopatra. Vaughan Williams brings an exquisite touch to his Six Studies in English Folk Song, and Edward Elgar’s Piano Quintet is an Edwardian masterpiece of epic scope, embodying the gilded age and filled with unabashed romanticism and the pastoral grace of the English countryside.
Tickets are $50, $39 or $28 with $5 off for students and seniors.
