Join artist Maria Fong to celebrate Lunar New Year with a crafting activity at the Chinatown Branch of the Boston Public Library.

We will use drawings and paper cuttings to create a layered Lunar New Year scene out of cut and folded paper. This technique, called a tunnel book, creates foreground, middle ground, and background to show decorations and celebrations within a space.

Participants can take home their project at the end of the session.

No experience needed.

This program is for adult and kids ages 6 up.
