This training is for families interested in caring for refugee asylee/trafficked youth. Presented by Ascentria Care Alliance.
Ascentria runs the Unaccompanied Refugee Minor program and places refugee youth in foster homes throughout Massachusetts. Ascentria has a specialized contract with DCF to act as the youth’s legal guardian and provide support to the youth around all of their needs with particular emphasis on their legal status, medical and mental health needs, and plans for aging out of foster care. This training is for families interested in caring for refugee youth. This training will review:
