CambridgeSide Teams with East End House for School Supply Drive

Help local students in need prepare for the school year! CambridgeSide has teamed with Cambridge-based East End House to launch a special School Supply Drive through September 30, 2020. In the era of COVID-19, we are hosting a virtual and traditional school supply drive to ensure all under-resourced and vulnerable children in the community will have the necessary school supplies in September and beyond, whether learning in the classroom or at home.

Suggested new and unused items include: Three Ring Binders, Pocket Folders, Spiral Notebooks (Wide & College Ruled), Composition Books, Loose Leaf Paper (Wide & College Ruled), Backpacks, Lunchboxes, #2 Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Pencil Cases, Blue or Black Pens, Highlighters, Scissors, Glue Sticks, Tape, Rulers, Index Cards, Colored Markers, Colored Pencils, Construction Paper, Stickers, Headphones, Cloth Face Masks (Various Sizes), Hand Sanitizer, Gift Cards and more. Donations can be dropped off at CambridgeSide Welcome Center (Level 1). Virtual donations to purchase needed supplies can be made at EastEndHouse.org. 100% of all proceeds will go to eligible children and families from Cambridge and Somerville, and adjacent neighborhoods.
