The Cape Ann Museum's monthly book club is for year-round residents of Cape Ann. Beginning in October and running through May, the Museum will host book club meetings in its auditorium. A Museum docent and staff member will be present to facilitate each book group discussion to allow for a flow of ideas, provide connections to the collections and history of Cape Ann, and to suggest talking points if needed. The selection of books can be seen below along with the meeting date at which it will be discussed. 2019–2020 CAM Book Club selections were chosen for their captivating subject matter, excellent scholarship and/or insight into the history of Cape Ann. All CAM members are encouraged to read along and keep an eye out for related programming and exhibits this year.

Space is limited; reservations are required and are for the entirety of the October to May program. Group meets on the third Thursday of each month as noted below from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Free for CAM members only — nonmembers interested in participating may join at capeannmuseum.org/support/membership. Sign up online at Eventbrite. For questions please contact Courtney Richardson at (978) 283-0455 x12 or [email protected].
