spark is looking for submissions for its upcoming show: Symbiotic. This show explores the relationship between science and art. Both require creative thinking, innovation, and experimentation. spark is interested in submissions that reflect the intersections of these fields and how, from both sides, creators can be inspired.


With your submission, consider: How are the artistic process and the scientific process related? What patterns and questions do you examine? Is your process scientific or accidental? Is your work inspired by biological or chemical forms? Do you use chemical processes?


If you are interested in being part of this show please fill out this google form at: tinyurl.com/sparksymbiotic with your name, email address, image(s) or video and description of the work, and online website or portfolio. Sculptures will be considered.


PLEASE NOTE: Work must not stick out more than 4 inches from the wall, due to fire codes.
