Café Concert Series: Anna Harris

Born into a musical family, Anna Harris is an active performer and teacher, and has played in beloved venues such as Benaroya Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, and the Brevard Music Center. She recently performed as a soloist in MassOpera’s eclectic production of La Traviata, which took place at the Eustis Estate in Milton, MA and was reviewed as "novel and beautifully done" by GBH News. Anna graduated from Boston University School of Music where she studied with Dana Mazurkevich.

In 2020, Anna completed a tenure as an Artist-in-Residence at the Boston Medical Center. Throughout her residency, she created moments with music that contributed to the positive wellbeing of many facing extraordinary challenges in their lives. A patron at a performance remarked, “You can’t listen to this music and not have hope for the future.” Anna aims to provide hope for others through her performances and to bring music to places that often go without.

This concert sponsored by Bank of America will take place in the Newsfeed Café, which is directly accessible by its Boylston Street entrance.

Registration is not required, but please note that the capacity is 60 people. Guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are not allowed to bring outside food or beverage into the Café but are not required to order food or drink to attend the concert, which is free and open to the public. Please be prepared to follow current City of Boston COVID-19 health and safety protocols.
