Buddhist Meditation, Yoga & Mantra Transmission Ceremony

David Magone presents his teacher, Tibetan meditation master Khenpo Migmar Tseten Rinpoche in an asana class, meditation, and mantra transmission ceremony (giving recipients access to an ancient lineage of practice, with permission to practice it on their own). David will teach the vinyasa portion of class in-person and Khenpo Migmar will join us virtually for the meditation talk.

Khenpo Migmar is the Buddhist Chaplain of the Harvard University, trained under His Eminence Chogye Trichen Rinpoche, one of the greatest meditation masters of the last century and the private tutor of the 14th Dalai Lama. Buddhist yoga practices have a long history, dating back to the 8th and 9th century and in this workshop, students will discover how Buddhist practices and yoga combine to affirm our higher nature. It has long been a dream of ours to have David Magone and Khenpo Migmar bring their distinguished and authentic Buddhist meditation programming to our blossoming Meditation School.
