Brighton Boozaar Night Market: Halloween Edition

Even an acolyte of Dread Cthulhu, High Priest of the Great Old Ones, cannot resist the temptation of a good night market. So what hope do us mere mortals have? Not even the power of The Great Dreamer, The Sleeper of R’lyeh, can overcome the allure of over 60 small local businesses popping up to sell their wares at the second annual Brighton Boozaar!! 

But if you think this will be merely another night of surrendering your coin to oblivion for charms, talismans, & artifacts galore, think again! A mysterious experience room is set to appear in the corner of Garage B. For the first time ever, you can indulge in the soul-expanding magic of an intimate reading with the poet of your choice, thanks to The Poetry Brothel (an immersive literary cabaret fusing poetry, activism, vaudeville, burlesque, live music, visual art, magic, & mysticism with private one on one poetry experiences!)

And of course costumes are encouraged, we’ll have a contest with an assortment of goodies for the winner, so leave your name & info up at the front desk to enter!

-Resident DJ @majorwaxbuildup will be doing a special set for his birthday!

-Food/Beverage: will be provided by Notch Brewing (including their new food stall Notch Provisions), @super.bien , Hummus v’ Hummus , The Koji Club and Tipping Cow. The dining options at the Speedway are now fully open & a culinary force to be reckoned with!

-Notch will have a special permit for the evening so that you & your beverage can roam while you shop.

-Admission is free & the Bazaar itself is always open to all ages.

-We’re located right on the 70 and 86 bus lines, & there's a bike rack at the top of the Speedway’s parking lot. Western Ave & the adjacent neighborhood also have street parking (check side streets!).

-This is partially indoors and happening rain or shine in Garage B

-Dogs are allowed in Garage B, but not in the main courtyard.
