All part of a national tour to find America's HopChef!
Featuring a full tasting of a broad spectrum of Ommegang brews paired with culinary creations from Boston's top chefs including Kyle Stamps (Coda Bar & Kitchen), Jeff Howe (Teatro), Julie Cutting (Cure), Johnny Sheehan (New World Tavern), Alex Jenkins (Foundry on Elm) and Brian Reyalt (Franklin Cafe)! Each chef will create one dish showcasing their imaginative beer and food pairing skills. The dishes, each paired with a specific Ommegang beer, will be served to a panel of judges and attendees to taste and score.
Tickets include samples of each chef’s signature dish and accompanying Ommegang beers as well as a commemorative Brewery Ommegang glass. A prestigious panel of judges that includes Will Blunt (StarChefs,) Tony Maws (Caigie on Main), Chris Furnari (Brewbound), Neil Witte (Master Cicerone) and Farideh Sadeghin (Saveur), will be on-site to award HopChef Boston!

Chef Prizes
The HopChef winner will be invited to the Grand Finale competition at Ommegang’s annual Belgium Comes to Cooperstown (BCTC) festival on August 9th
People’s Choice prize includes one year of first release seasonal Ommegang beers
The 2014 Grand Prize winner will receive a spotlight position on SAVEUR Magazine tastemakers board, a spotlight in SAVEUR Magazine & StarChefs.com editorial, and main stage showcase at StarChefs.com International Chef’s Congress and a showcase station with Brewery Ommegang at SAVEUR Summer BBQ, both in NYC
