Beer in a library?! Yes! WGBH’s Brainiacs and Brews will take place in the WGBH Studio at the Boston Public Library. Sip beer or wine as you test your smarts with fellow game lovers. It’s free to play, but registration is required.


How it works
Spend the evening with fellow brainiacs solving a variety of brainteasers, puzzles and challenges scattered throughout the Newsfeed Café. This is not a seated event! Each correctly solved challenge wins you points. The teams with the most points will compete in a head-to-head, puzzle-solving showdown for the title of “Brainiac of the BPL!” The winners will receive a WGBH prize pack.


Teams can be no more than 4 people.


Must be 21 or older to attend with a valid ID.


The WGBH Studio is inside the Newsfeed Café at the Boston Public Library, located at 700 Boylston St. at the corner of Exeter Street.
