Boston Virtual Reality Meetup featuring Zeiss VR ONE and BIOPAC

Come out to the Venture Cafe and be one of the first to try the VR ONE head mounted display from ZEISS! The VR ONE features leading-edge optical design and ZEISS precision lenses for the ultimate immersive visual experience. Removable trays allow you to install an iPhone 6 or Galaxy S5 and the semi-transparent cover allows your phone's camera to enable augmented reality applications.

BIOPAC Systems will be presenting their aLIAS application, which uses pictures, video, and/or sound to produce an immersive experience within the Oculus Rift. A tool for psychological researchers, the software creates emotionally stimulating conditions that would be difficult or unethical to achieve using traditional approaches. VR has huge potential in medicine and Boston VR is very excited to be a part of the MedStart Innovation Challenge and this will be your invitation to join in as well! Tufts Medical School will give us a brief introduction and invitation, you can find the full details on our site. We'll be featuring some medical & science VR demonstrations so bring your scrubs!

And not least, we will have many VR demonstrations from our talented group of VR developers. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to try the Oculus Rift DK2 this is a perfect opportunity. If you have a VR demo you'd like to show let us know!
