In the coming years, there are several decisions about transportation infrastructure projects the state of Massachusetts will need to consider. One of them is the North-South Rail Link which could radically change the landscape of Massachusetts’ public transit.
Massachusetts’ crowded highways are impacting employers, workers, and the environment. Our commuter rail system has limitations for our growing region. A downtown rail link with full transit connectivity could greatly improve service, costs, and provide a long-term solution to regional highway congestion. New construction technologies are being used around the world to build similar links without the high cost and disruption to daily transportation. Join the conversation on technological innovation and policy implications of the NSRL.

This conversation will be joined by former Governor, Michael S. Dukakis (via Skype)
Brad Bellows
Norm Gorin
