Boston Poetry Marathon 2022 - over 100 poets each reading their work for 7 minutes apiece. Fri online only, Sat & Sun in-person.
We are so happy to announce that the Boston Poetry Marathon will be in-person this year! But we learned a good lesson from 2020 and 2021 — online poetry readings are great, too! So the 2022 Boston Poetry Marathon will be a hybrid event! Friday night will be online only. Saturday and Sunday will be a face-to-face event at our 2019 venue, the Community Church of Boston. This way, we can have the best of both options.
Admission is free but we are also fundraising! The Boston Poetry Marathon is an all-volunteer effort. 2022 proceeds will go to organizations that support reproductive freedom and abortion care, The Womxn Project and the Eastern Massachusetts Abortion Fund. Suggested donation of $10 or more is welcome and appreciated.
