* UPDATE* The Boston March for Reparations is not going to happen anymore because we are consolidating all our efforts in the Northeast region to build for the Philadelphia March for Reparations to African People, happening Saturday October 17th.

The Philly March for Reparations will coincide with a rally at the end with the One Africa! One Nation! Marketplace at Uhuru Furniture & Collectibles, two powerful black self-determination institutions that will be open to the public with many African vendors, speakers from the African People's Socialist Party and a full line-up program!

ATTN: BOSTON SUPPORTERS: Join members and supporters of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement in Boston/ New England as we drive down together in a caravan to participate in the Philadelphia March for Reparations to African People! We will meet in the Stop and Shop parking lot on McGrath Highway in Somerville around 2pm in the afternoon on Friday October 16th, and have a group text for the road trip so we can stick together and make sure everyone is safe and not alone on the road.

We will use this event page to post discussions about mobilizing for the Philly event throughout the Boston area, plan rideshares and housing arrangements, and post updates about the campaign to Make Wall Street Pay Reparations!

REGISTER for the Philly march at: www.PhillyMarchForReparations.eventbrite.com

MARCH DESCRIPTION:

On October 17, 2020 is a national day of political action coordinated by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, the reparations organization of white people formed by and working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party.

This is a call to the white population to march for reparations as a stance of principled solidarity with the black community and their righteous struggle for Black Power, political and economic power over their own lives and resources.

March for Reparations is itself an act of reparations, functioning as a major fundraiser for the economic programs of the African People’s Socialist Party, including the Black Power Blueprint.
You can sign-up to donate and hold your own fundraiser at UhuruSolidarity.org/March
