Guests attending the 2018 Boston Landmarks Orchestra gala will begin the glamorous evening with a cocktail reception on the other side of the Charles River from this summer’s critically acclaimed free Hatch Shell concerts. Co-chaired by Gene & Lloyd Dahmen and Kit & Neil Diver and emceed by Peter Fiedler, the evening of tributes, dinner, and entertainment will be held on, Thursday, October 4 6pm-9pm at the stunning Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. Landmarks Orchestra will proudly honor Paul Grogan, The Boston Foundation, President & CEO and Katharine M. “Kitty” Pell Trustee, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Founding Board Chair, and Trustee, Conservatory Lab Charter School. Tribute speakers will include The Honorable Michael S. Dukakis Former Governor of Massachusetts and Rev. Dr. Ray Hammond Pastor, Bethel AME Church. All proceeds go to support all of LO’s initiatives, including Free Summer Concerts, Breaking Down Barriers, and educational and neighborhood programs.
