Come celebrate America’s independence in the most patriotic place in New England. Boston Harborfest is a 37-year-old tradition held over Independence Day weekend celebrating Boston’s harbor and history. This highly anticipated annual event will start on Thursday, June 28 at 11:00am with the Opening Ceremony featuring Mayor Marty Walsh cutting the official Boston Harborfest Cake at Faneuil Hall. Fan favorite, Boston Chowderfest returns Sunday, July 1 from 12pm-3pm with samplings of the best chowder Boston has to offer. Other festivities on July 1 include Arts at Harborfest and live entertainment, both in Christopher Columbus Park.
