Artie Januario
Laughter is the best medicine. This week Boston Comedy Festival all-star show at the Rockwell Theater Somerville is headlined by someone who can actually fill your comedy prescription. Comedian Artie Januario has not quit his day job as a pharmacist.
While working at Harvard University’s pharmacy, Januario studied creative writing at its extension school in 2000. He started his luck on Stand up Comedy and the rest is history. Artie was among the laugh-provoking lineup of the 18th annual Comics Come Home with its co-founder Denis Leary and other comedians including Lenny Clarke and Darrell Hammond. The fundraiser for the Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care was held that year at the 7,200-seat Agganis Arena in Boston.
Also on this, the all-star line up is 2017 Boston Comedy Festival Champion, Andrew Mayer.
With a quirky delivery and an offbeat sense of humor, Andrew Mayer has quickly become a mainstay in Boston’s comedy scene.
Brian Higginbottom: Brian has performed in the Crosstown Comedy Festival in New York, was a finalist in the Beantown Comedy Riots and is a regular at the top clubs in Boston including Nick's Comedy Stop, the Comedy Connection, and Laugh Boston.
Matthew P Brown is a Comedian from Boston, Massachusetts. Since Matthews start in comedy he has gone on to work with some of today's top comedians and is opening high-level shows across the Country.
