Boston City Singers’ Tour Choir will celebrate the legacy and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., with two performances at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston on Monday, Jan. 21., at 11:00 a.m. and noon, under the direction of Founding Artistic Director Jane Money. The Tour Choir’s repertoire will include songs of inspiration and hope from South Africa, Jamaica, Israel, and Uruguay. The youth choir, which completed a three-week summer residency in South Africa in 2017, is composed of over 40 high school-aged singers from Boston and nearby suburbs. Boston City Singers’ Rhythm Ensemble, under the direction of Kimani Lumsden, will also be performing. The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. Admission is free, with entrance fees to the museum waived in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
