Beck, My Morning Jacket, the Pixies and Tenacious D are just the tip of the iceberg of what this year's Boston Calling Music Festival has to offer. The three-day spectacle's lineup at Boston City Hall Plaza reads like a who's who of indie rock stardom, including the likes of psychedelic rockers Tame Impala, charismatic folkster Ben Harper, the hypnotic multi-instrumental genius St. Vincent, and many others.
Each day is packed with can't-miss performances, but in terms of headliners, come Friday to see Beck, Saturday to catch My Morning Jacket, and Sunday for a double-helping of epic riffage from the Pixies and Tenacious D. Delicious food vendors such as Tasty Burger will be onsite and beer and wine will be for purchase as well.
